The Silver Spurs Rodeo and Fair is held in February each year  and is run by the Silver Spurs Club, one of the largest rodeo volunteer organizations in the country.  In 1999, four hundred cowhands competed for $100,000 in prizes.  For three days, rain or shine, competition in bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, and barrel racing takes place as judges evaluate each ride on time, animal activity, and rider technique. Other performances include the world famous Silver Spurs Quadrille team where eight couples intricately execute a square dance on horseback.  The Silver Spurs Rodeo is also held in October along with the Kissimme Ribfest.

Direction to: Silver Spurs Rodeo is located inside Osceola Heritage Park, follow the directions coming from either of the following directions:

ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Follow South Exit signs from the airport. Proceed south on Boggy Creek Road, go Boggy Creek Road, go under toll road 417, then one mile to stop light (Circle K on one corner); turn right (name of street is still Boggy Creek Road). Follow this (name changes to Simpson Road to U.S. Highway 192, turn right, to next stoplight, Bill Beck Blvd, Turn Right. Main Entrance to Osceola Heritage Park is about one block on left. Follow signs.

I-4 WESTBOUND
Take Exit #77, to Florida?s Turnpike South. See below for Turnpike southbound. I-4

EASTBOUND
Take Exit #65, Osceola Parkway ($1.25 toll), proceed east 9.1 miles to Michigan Avenue (third traffic light after the tool booth). Turn right on Michigan to Hwy. 192 (at the fourth traffic light); turn left and follow Hwy. 192 to Bill Beck Blvd. Turn left. Main entrance to Osceola Heritage Park is about one block on left.

FLORIDA?S TURNPIKE SOUTHBOUND
Take Exit #244 (Kissimmee-St. Cloud), turn right (west) onto U.S. Hwy 192; go through stop light at Simpson Road to next stop light at Bill Beck Blvd. (approximately one mile). Turn right. Main entrance to Osceola Heritage Park is about one block on left. Follow signs.

FLORIDA?S TURNPIKE NORTHBOUND
Take Exit #242 (Kissimmee-St. Cloud), turn left (west) onto U.S. Hwy 192; go approximately two miles to stop light at Bill Beck Blvd. Turn right. Main entrance to Osceola Heritage Park is about one block on left. Follow signs.

I-95 NORTHBOUND
Take Exit # 180, to U.S. Hwy. 192 West. Follow Hwy. 192 to Bill Beck Blvd. Turn right. Follow signs to Main entrance. Osceola Heritage Park is about one block on left. Follow signs.

I-95 SOUTHBOUND
Take Exit # 205B, to Route 528, the Beeline Expressway. Exit the Beeline at Exit #26 to Route 417 west (the Greeneway). Exit 417 at Exit #17, to Boggy Creek Road south. Follow Boggy Creek one mile to stop light, turn right onto Boggy Creek Road to Hwy. 192 (approximately 5.3 miles) (street name changes to Simpson Road). Turn right on Hwy. 192, to next traffic light, Bill Beck Blvd., turn right. Follow signs to Main entrance. Osceola Heritage Park is about one block on left.
