Disney World The Magic KingdomDisney World The Magic Kingdom Average User Rating: Many people think that going to Walt Disney World means going to The Magic Kingdom, but the Magic Kingdom is actually one of four Disney World parks in the Orlando area. The Magic Kingdom was the first and is one of Central Florida's top attractions. Many of the original Magic Kingdom rides still exist and are all-time favorites. Rides that are more oriented toward the younger set are The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, Donald's Boat, It's a Small World, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's Country House, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight, Shrunken Ned's Junior Jungle Boats and Snow White's Scary Adventures. Although pretty tame, these rides are nevertheless highly entertaining so adults without kids may want to check them out anyway. A fine example of this is Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - where you ride in a spinning car with the goal of shooting targets. For those seeking thrills look for the following attractions: Big Thunder Mountain, Astro Orbiter, Space Mountain, The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, and Splash Mountain. Space Mountain is the most popular rollercoaster ride in the park. It isn't the fastest or highest ride - but completely shrouded in the dark with flashing lights and booming track more than makes it as thrilling as you'd want it to be. All-time favorites that complete the fantasy of the Magic Kingdom are The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hall of Presidents, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Country Bear Jamboree, Jungle Cruise, Mad Tea Party, Swiss Family Treehouse, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, and Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. Pirates of the Caribbean was so successful it became the inspiration for the recent movie of the same name. There are plenty of places in the park to refresh your thirst or apease your appetite as well plenty of parades, festivals, celebrations and entertainment. Directions: Take Exit 25, the Magic Kingdom-U.S. 192 exit, off of I-4. Drive 4 miles along Disney's main road and another mile to the parking lot Keywords: disneyworld Top of PageDo you know of a Place that should be included here?
