The Mad Cow Theatre Company began in 1997 with a vision of producing simple, yet quality productions and has succeeded.   Mad Cow presents both classical and contemporary works and attracts the area's most talented actors, designers, and directors. 

The company has received numerous awards, including Arts Innovator of the Year by United Arts of Central Florida, several Umbrella Awards at The Orlando International Fringe Festival and Best Theatre Company from Orlando Magazine and The Orlando Weekly.   It was recently awarded a Golden Brick Award for outstanding contribution to downtown life and has been named Best Theatre by Orlando Magazine for two years in a row.
