Making it's grand debut in 1963 The Plaza Theatre was Orlando's first and only two screened movie theatre. Gaining popularity the theature earned the nickname“ the rocking chair theatre” by locals. Since then the theatre has gone through major renovations and is now a premiere entertainment destination in Orlando. The theatre includes free parking, a convenient location, and events for the entire family. It's no wonder the Plaza Theatre has gained a reputation as a top choice for a quality night of live entertainment.
