Constructed in 1963 as the city’s first 2-screen movie theater, the historic Plaza Theatre is Orlando’s premiere live concert venue offering a wide range of concerts, comedians, and cultural events. In the early 1990’s, the theater was converted into a live-performance hall which opened the doors for many new artists and talent, while also acting as the 3rd largest seated venue in Central Florida.

Having established a strong grass-roots following by doing many lower profile shows and events, the theater eventually started bringing in larger acts of high caliber. Moving into the future, the Plaza Theatre has been making renovations in all aspects which include replacing the seating in the main hall with removable seating allowing for a wider range of talent. The Plaza is looking forward to attracting new audiences by hosting larger standing room acts, while keeping their loyal fan base by continuing to provide seated shows of all varieties.

Easy to find with plenty of free parking, The Plaza is the perfect destination for a night of live entertainment.
